As the sun set on the Brumby regime back in 2010, Rosebud Pier beach also copped a “makeover” in an attempt to hold back the endless sea. Signage promised that $250,000 of works would deliver us a 10 metre wide by 160 metres long beach at high tide……..

Eighteen months later and it’s not looking so great now. About one third of the beach is non existent and the sandbag wall is under constant wave attack.
