Myths about channel deepening

VECCI has long said that Blue Wedges peddles myths about the risks associated with channel deepening. Let's have a look at one of VECCI's myths.

Myth Number 1

Is the myth that we need channel deepening so that we can continue to enjoy the little pleasures of life, such as our morning tea or coffee. Mr. Chris James Strategic Communications Manager for the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI) claims we wouldn't even be able to have a "heart-starter" cup of tea or coffee in the morning if we didn't import it*. Wrong!

Chris might be an expert on communicating with offshore industries but not our home grown ones! Where do you shop mate?

Put the kettle on, put your feet up and have a look at our little PowerPoint show for just a few of the many high quality products that are cheaper to buy Aussie made than imported. Give me an Aussie biscuit any day!
