PROTEST ON
From 10am onwards up to 25 kayakers will stage a paddle at
Ocean Kayaking Australia (OKA) which is a new business on the Port Phillip foreshore hiring out kayaks at five beach locations, is hosting a protest against
COME ENJOY THE BAY AND HELP US KEEP IT THAT WAY
CHANNEL DEEPENING –NO WAY!!
AFTER YOUR PADDLE, JOIN OUR ELWOOD ACTION FROM 11 AM TO 12 NOON
WEAR RED, BRING FRIENDS, SPREAD THE WORD AND BE THERE.
Elwood beach, in front of the Elwood Angling Club from 11am to 12 noon.
We ask as many people as possible to be present on the beach for that hour, to bring banners and wear red. Local businesses and St. Kilda GP Dr. Josephine Samuel-King will inform you of what is at stake - for all who rely on the Bay. Hear where the campaign is at and what you can do to help.

Mt. Martha Life Saving Club is running several swim events during the morning and has invited Blue Wedges to be at the final swim event at 12 noon.
Come along to hear how channel deepening would impact on the Bay, its inhabitants and users, and all the businesses that rely on it. Local speakers.
