 Mr. Garrett has finally provided his reasons for the Decision he made on 20th December to approve channel deepening.

 Our preliminary reading of Mr. Garrett’s reasons makes us wonder if he is still under the spell of the PoMC. See Economic and social considerations at Paragraphs 54-58. The supposed economic value of the Port is highlighted, but no mention of the flip-side. Where’s his consideration of the economic and social benefits provided by the Bay….perhaps that’s because they are priceless! See Mr. Garrett's reasons at:
