ACF alerts the real Queen about Dutch company’s dredging breach

The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) yesterday wrote to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands to alert Her Majesty to Dutch company Royal Boskalis’ failure to comply with the Channel Deepening Project’s “rule book”.

And, as ACF marine campaigner Chris Smyth wryly observed in a recent Age artcile (‘Dredging fails first bay test; 1/8) it is amazing that a breach of the rules could occur given that environmental limits on the dredging project are so weak.
